Welcome to YG Mentorship Program

The YG Mentorship Program helps newer or less experienced home inspectors get the guidance they need to be exceptional home inspectors by pairing them with experienced home inspectors. We have worked in the profession for years and maintain a broad knowledge that can help those starting out their careers as home inspectors.

Mentorship means different things to different people. In this case, mentorship is a relationship between two individuals, in which the more experienced, teaches a less knowledgeable individual with the goal of providing the inexperienced person with an experienced partner to guide and nurture their development.

Objectives of Mentorship Program

The objectives of YG’s mentorship program are as follows:

– To promote the personal and professional well-being of the new apprentice or home
inspector
– To develop the knowledge, skills and competencies needed by apprentices or home
inspectors to be successful
– To provide an opportunity for analysis of their skills and knowledge through coaching from a well experienced home inspection professional
