We strongly recommend our clients to tag along for the inspection. Our home inspector will give you explanations regarding all aspects of the home inspection and answer any questions you might have.
During the exterior inspection we carefully observe the condition of the exterior wall claddings, sidings and trim. Our home inspector will also check the functionality of all permanent windows and doors as well as their flashings and mouldings. If the property has a garage, we will verify whether or not the electric garage door opener automatically reverses or stops when meeting reasonable resistance during closing. All decks, balconies, stoops, steps, porches and railings will be observed and their conditions will be described in the inspection report. Our home inspector will equally inspect the driveways and walkways as well as the drainage system and retaining walls with respect to their effect on the condition of the main building.
All of the observations made will be described in detail in the inspection report. If any defects are found, their severity and implications will be provided and further recommendations regarding the timeframe needed for their repair will also be included.
